How Often Should You Get A Massage?

One of the most common questions asked by clients is: How often should I get a massage? Since massage improves our health and helps every system in our body, it should be a part of our self-care routine. Our self-care routine is what contributes to our health and how we feel each day. Every day, we put so much stress on our body, and it gets us through so much. We can get through our tasks, but sometimes, our body will feel it and ask us to slow down. Massage is, not only relaxing, but it helps our holistic health and benefits every system in our body. To get the full benefits, regular massage is recommended, at least, every other week.  Regular massage will ease tension and soreness by smoothing out each muscle fiber. With every massage, our muscles are rejuvenated, and tension is relieved. And just as we do with our exercise regime, it’s important to keep up with massage to maintain it’s benefits. Massage is the tune-up our body needs to keep feeling and looking good.

Our daily activities require us to bend over, ride in the car, pick up our babies, and keep up with them, too. When we take an active role in making our body feel better, we benefit our holistic health, and our well-being improves. The best way to feel great is to take care of our body and smooth out all the tension. Our muscles work hard to keep us moving, and they work better when the muscle fibers are smooth. Massage works on the muscles to allow easy movement and support. The older we get, the more love and attention our body needs. Massage Therapy is a wonderful way to care for our body.

I specialize in therapeutic massage, helping the muscles get relief and work with the body better. Every massage is tailored specifically for you to release tension, promote circulation and just relax. Each style of massage utilizes long, flowing strokes to induce serenity or more strategic strokes, smoothing out discomfort. I work deep in the muscle fascia and work on finding the site that is initiating any pain. Massage can be compared to an apple a day with how many benefits it provides for your body.
